What You'll Do15
- 1Receive student referrals and implement assessment and evaluation process
- 2Select and administer formal and informal assessments for eligibility determination
- 3Collect and organize assessment data from multiple sources
- 4Conduct classroom observations and personal interviews
- 5Schedule and participate in ARD Committee meetings for IEP development
- 6Provide staff development training on disability identification
- 7Assist teachers with IEP implementation
- 8Consult parents on educational needs and assessment results
- 9Develop and maintain relationships with students and parents
- 10Assist in assessment program selection and equipment coordination
- 11Coordinate evaluation of assessment program and file reports
- 12Comply with federal and state special education policies
- 13Participate in professional development activities
- 14Coordinate student schedules and services before academic year
- 15Support staff development and campus preparation for special education programs
Requirements13
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Master’s degree in educational assessment
- 3Valid Texas teaching certificate
- 4Valid Texas educational diagnostician certificate
- 5Knowledge of diagnostic procedures
- 6Understanding of special education
- 7Ability to read technical documents
- 8Proficiency in writing reports and correspondence
