Leadership overseeing educational services within Head Start ensuring compliance with HSPPS and federal regulations. Manage instructional quality curriculum implementation and professional development for school readiness outcomes.

- 1Educational Program Leadership Oversee research-based curriculum aligned with HSELOF ensuring fidelity and vertical alignment
- 2Child Assessment and Data Systems Oversee assessment systems ensure data-driven instruction and continuous quality improvement
- 3School Readiness Goals Lead development and evaluation of school readiness objectives aligning classroom practices with readiness goals
- 4Professional Development & Staff Development Implement training systems ensure staff qualifications meet federal requirements provide coaching and mentoring
- 5Inclusive Practices & Disabilities Services Ensure full inclusion coordinate IFSPs and IEPs promote UDL and individualized supports
- 6Health Mental Health and Wellness Integration Collaborate with staff to integrate wellness into classrooms promote trauma informed practices
- 7Family Engagement Integration Support parent involvement align services with PFCE framework promote culturally responsive partnerships
- 8ERSEA Alignment Coordinate with ERSEA staff ensure education services align with enrollment attendance and engagement strategies
- 9Compliance Monitoring Ensure program compliance lead internal reviews prepare documentation for federal monitoring support CLASS initiatives
- 10Governance and Program Systems Provide reports to Policy Council and Governing Board participate in grant development and strategic initiatives support coordinated service delivery
- 11Performance Standards Alignment Ensure compliance with 45 CFR parts 1301 1302 subparts A B C D E F and financial administrative requirements
Requirements5
- 1Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education Child Development Education Administration or related field preferred
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field minimum requirement
- 3Minimum 3–5 years experience in Head Start or early childhood program leadership
- 4Demonstrated knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards
- 5Experience with curriculum implementation CLASS child assessment systems and CQI processes
