  • 2Prepare detailed weekly lesson plans and individualized education plans
  • 3Conduct daily observations and formal assessments three times yearly using Work Sampling
  • 4Maintain accurate records including attendance meal counts and documentation of developmental progress
  • 5Collaborate with parents through conferences home visits and active engagement
  • 6Participate in all professional development initiatives and community partnership activities
  • 7Support staff through teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
  • 8Ensure classroom safety by reporting repairs and managing supplies through proper procedures
  • 9Foster creative expression through language development and artistic activities
  • 10Drive curriculum implementation and program evaluation
  • 11Uphold organizational values while delivering high-quality early childhood education

Requirements11

  • 15+ years experience creating curriculum for young learners
  • 2Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • 3Understanding of Head Start standards and regulatory requirements
  • 4Proven ability to work with diverse populations including those experiencing homelessness
  • 5Strong problem-solving skills and experience with data-driven instruction
  • 6Expertise with educational technology and digital learning tools
  • 7Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
