What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement daily activities using Creative Curriculum to build kindergarten readiness skills
- 2Prepare detailed weekly lesson plans and individualized education plans
- 3Conduct daily observations and formal assessments three times yearly using Work Sampling
- 4Maintain accurate records including attendance meal counts and documentation of developmental progress
- 5Collaborate with parents through conferences home visits and active engagement
- 6Participate in all professional development initiatives and community partnership activities
- 7Support staff through teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
- 8Ensure classroom safety by reporting repairs and managing supplies through proper procedures
- 9Foster creative expression through language development and artistic activities
- 10Drive curriculum implementation and program evaluation
- 11Uphold organizational values while delivering high-quality early childhood education
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience creating curriculum for young learners
- 2Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
- 3Understanding of Head Start standards and regulatory requirements
- 4Proven ability to work with diverse populations including those experiencing homelessness
- 5Strong problem-solving skills and experience with data-driven instruction
- 6Expertise with educational technology and digital learning tools
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- 8Ability to thrive in collaborative team environments
