Education Coordinator for Youth Theatre, Community Outreach & Programs
Overview
Own EVCT educational programming at scale, shaping classes, troupes, and workshops for ages 3-18 within the Mesa community. Lead a network of teaching artists and coordinate with marketing and operations to grow long-term impact. This part-time leadership role focuses on community partnerships, curriculum design, and program expansion.
What You'll Do10
- 1Design and oversee EVCT educational programming for classes, troupes, masterclasses, and workshops
- 2Hire and manage teaching artists and staff for all education programs
- 3Develop annual workshop rotations to attract new families and support mainstage season
- 4Lead off-site programming and school outreach, including residencies and enrichment classes
- 5Coordinate curriculum creation for fall, spring, and summer camps
- 6Collaborate on education marketing with Marketing Committee Chair and Business Manager
- 7Manage class registration database and enrollment reporting
- 8Maintain relationships with Mesa Public Schools and community partners
- 9Oversee outreach contracting and insurance certificates for off-site programs
- 10Serve as primary grant writer for education/outreach programs per fiscal year
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s Degree required with arts education focus preferred
- 2Strong teaching track record in youth theatre
- 3Proven leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills
- 4Experience budgeting, systems, and staff management
- 5Excellent communication and collaboration across departments and with the Board of Directors
