What You'll Do9
- 1Design and deliver theatre-integrated lessons focused on social-emotional learning and creative expression
- 2Facilitate safe inclusive learning environments that nurture student growth and collaboration
- 3Guide students through full-scale performances and culminating presentations
- 4Document program outcomes and share insights with leadership teams
- 5Maintain accurate records and adhere to institutional policies
- 6Participate in planning sessions and address workshop logistics
- 7Support community engagement initiatives and outreach efforts
- 8Deliver workshops in schools and community spaces with flexibility for scheduling
- 9Mentor colleagues and contribute to professional development activities
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts Playwriting Music Puppetry Dance Movement or related field
- 2Minimum 3 years teaching or arts administration experience
- 3Proven ability to work with diverse populations including youth and underserved communities
- 4Strong cultural competency and understanding of social-emotional learning principles
- 5Experience collaborating with educational institutions and community organizations
- 6Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 7Ability to lift 30 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- 8Commitment to ongoing professional development in arts education
- 9Background check clearance required for school and community placements
