What You'll Do17

  • 1Program CNC machines using CAM software
  • 2Set up and operate CNC Live tool lathes
  • 3Setup and operate 3 4 and 5 Axis CNC milling machines
  • 4Take precise measurements to ensure quality using calipers height gauges gauge pins
  • 5Select appropriate tooling to complete tasks
  • 6Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments
  • 7Design and create fixturing and work-holding for complex parts
  • 8Maintain tooling inventory
  • 9Provide material sizes and run times for quoting purposes
  • 10Quality check in process parts to ensure specifications
  • 11Identify need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs
  • 12Maintain a safe and clean workstation
  • 13Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • 14Operate CNC Waterjet to cut raw stock
  • 15Understand requirements for AS9100 projects
  • 16Hardware installation CNC Press brake operator additional
  • 17Produce parts with tolerances as low as +/- .0005

  • 1Secret Clearance ability to obtain
  • 2High School Diploma GED and 8 years minimum CNC experience programming
  • 3Proficient with Solidworks Inventor
  • 4Strong coordination and mechanical skills
  • 5Attention to detail accuracy and safety
  • 6Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
  • 8Little supervision required
