What You'll Do17
- 1Program CNC machines using CAM software
- 2Set up and operate CNC Live tool lathes
- 3Setup and operate 3 4 and 5 Axis CNC milling machines
- 4Take precise measurements to ensure quality using calipers height gauges gauge pins
- 5Select appropriate tooling to complete tasks
- 6Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments
- 7Design and create fixturing and work-holding for complex parts
- 8Maintain tooling inventory
- 9Provide material sizes and run times for quoting purposes
- 10Quality check in process parts to ensure specifications
- 11Identify need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs
- 12Maintain a safe and clean workstation
- 13Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
- 14Operate CNC Waterjet to cut raw stock
- 15Understand requirements for AS9100 projects
- 16Hardware installation CNC Press brake operator additional
- 17Produce parts with tolerances as low as +/- .0005

- 1Secret Clearance ability to obtain
- 2High School Diploma GED and 8 years minimum CNC experience programming
- 3Proficient with Solidworks Inventor
- 4Strong coordination and mechanical skills
- 5Attention to detail accuracy and safety
- 6Solid written and verbal communication skills
- 7Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
- 8Little supervision required
