Driver Technician, K-12 Device Repair & Delivery
Overview
You will own the repair and delivery of client devices for Cell Tech Inc, a top K-12 service provider. You will diagnose hardware and software issues on Lenovo, Acer, Dell, HP, and Apple products, process warranty and non-warranty work orders, and ensure safe, prompt transport. You will work directly with school staff, representing the company with a professional attitude. This hybrid role offers Lenovo certification training, flexible summer schedules, and optional overtime during the school year.
What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose hardware and software issues on Lenovo, Acer, Dell, HP, and Apple devices.
- 2Process work orders following warranty and non-warranty guidelines.
- 3Repair devices to quality service standards at our in-shop facility.
- 4Load, secure, and transport client devices to ensure safe and prompt delivery.
- 5Communicate professionally with school staff and clients during pickups and deliveries.
- 6Maintain a clean driving record and navigate Washington, DC efficiently.
- 7Lift and carry devices weighing over 50 pounds during loading and unloading.
- 8Use a smartphone or tablet for navigation and work order updates.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of experience in device repair or delivery driving.
- 2Clean driving record with no DUI convictions in the past 4 years.
- 3No more than 1 moving violation and/or fault accident in the last 3 years.
- 4Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
- 5Comfortable operating a smartphone or tablet for navigation and communication.
- 6Pass a background check and have legal right to work in the US.
- 7Professional appearance and personable attitude when interacting with clients.
- 8Reliable commute or intent to relocate to Chantilly, VA 20151 (preferred).
