We seek a Driver Recruiter to own the full recruitment cycle for CDL drivers across US Canada and Mexico. The role involves sourcing screening onboarding and retaining talent while thriving in a fast-paced environment. This position offers a chance to shape driver relationships and impact.
What You'll Do9
- 1Manage full-cycle recruitment for CDL drivers across assigned lanes and terminals
- 2Source candidates through job boards cold calling text SMS outreach and past applicant databases
- 3Screen candidates by reviewing MVR PSP and Clearinghouse records verifying employment history and confirming CDL endorsements
- 4Conduct interviews assessing fit experience and driver expectations
- 5Coordinate drug screens background checks and road tests with compliance safety teams
- 6Guide candidates through onboarding offering details pay structure dispatch handoff and start-date logistics
- 7Build lasting relationships with drivers post hire to support retention and address early concerns
- 8Track requisition pipelines and hiring metrics across multiple open roles simultaneously
- 9Monitor competitor postings and market pay rates to stay competitive in sourcing
Requirements7
- 13 to 5 years in safety and training transportation industry preferred
- 2Previous experience hiring drivers out of different states within the US
- 3Safety driven with expertise in HOS DOT regulations and driver welfare
- 4At least three years of truck driving experience is an asset
- 5Must have solid understanding of the trucking industry
- 6Proficient with Microsoft Office
- 7Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
