Overview
We seek a proactive and entrepreneurial individual to join Premier Truck Rental as a Contract CDL Driver. Responsibilities include safely transporting fleet vehicles and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations while maintaining excellent customer service.
What You'll Do11
- 1Safely operate motor vehicles adhering to traffic laws and DOT guidelines
- 2Ensure accurate logbook maintenance and complete required paperwork
- 3Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections for vehicle safety
- 4Secure cargo properly and comply with all applicable regulations
- 5Maintain clean vehicles and report necessary repairs
- 6Deliver outstanding customer service during transportation processes
- 7Perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading fleet equipment
- 8Assist with loading/unloading duties as needed
- 9Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record and valid medical card
- 10Follow company policies regarding lifting capabilities and physical demands
- 11Work flexible schedules including overnights and weekends
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Airbrake endorsement
- 2At least 2 years of CMV driving experience
- 3High School Diploma or equivalent
- 4Minimum age of 21 years
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- 6Clean Motor Vehicle Record and valid medical documentation
- 7Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- 8Compliance with DOT physical examination requirements
