What You'll Do9
- 1Operate Class A trucks and trailers to transport construction equipment
- 2Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- 3Maintain accurate delivery documentation and shipment records
- 4Follow DOT safety regulations and federal transportation laws
- 5Secure loads using proper techniques and assist with rigging when needed
- 6Manage electronic logging devices and daily maintenance tasks
- 7Communicate effectively with dispatchers and coordinate logistics
- 8Ensure safe loading and unloading of trailers
- 9Report any defects accidents or regulatory violations promptly
Requirements7
- 15+ years experience as a CDL Class A driver
- 2Certified in hazardous materials handling
- 3Clean driving record with successful background check
- 4DOT physical certification required
- 5Proven ability to lift 75 pounds and handle heavy loads
- 6Familiarity with trailer systems and equipment operation
- 7Strong communication skills for dispatcher coordination
