What You'll Do11
- 1Safely operate motor vehicles adhering to traffic laws and road conditions
- 2Ensure compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT guidelines
- 3Maintain accurate logbooks and undergo required drug/alcohol screenings
- 4Deliver excellent customer service throughout the transportation process
- 5Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety
- 6Keep vehicles clean and report necessary repairs or maintenance
- 7Accurately complete and maintain all required paperwork within the vehicle
- 8Secure cargo properly following all applicable regulations
- 9Use equipment that is up-to-date and in optimal working condition
- 10Assist with loading and unloading fleet equipment as needed
- 11Work efficiently under tight deadlines and adapt to diverse conditions
Requirements11
- 1Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Airbrake endorsement
- 2At least 2 years of experience driving a Commercial Motor Vehicle
- 3High School Diploma G.E.D. or equivalent
- 4Minimum age of 21 years
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like loading unloading
- 6Clean Motor Vehicle Record and valid Medical Card
- 7Willingness to work flexible schedule including overnights and weekends
- 8Successful completion of a DOT Physical Examination
- 9Experience with car hauling preferred but not required
- 10Ability to work in inclement weather and diverse environments
- 11Strong communication skills for proactive interaction with team members
