What You'll Do11
- 1Provide semi-truck and trailer instruction in the Driving Academy Program
- 2Accommodate flexible schedules with rotational Saturdays mandatory
- 3Teach classroom theory and hands-on driver operation
- 4Monitor and document student performance and evaluate driving knowledge
- 5Plan and develop competency-based vocational training curriculum
- 6Assist students with training-related matters and equipment resources
- 7Manage and motivate students under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 8Work independently with minimal supervision
- 9Administer instructional strategies and evaluate material effectiveness
- 10Select and evaluate instructional materials and equipment
- 11Apply industry-standard semi-truck practices to training
Requirements9
- 1Minimum 3 years recent OTR driving history with verifiable experience
- 2Current Class A Commercial Driver's License
- 3Pass DOT drug screening and physical examination
- 4High School Diploma or equivalent verified
- 5Proven safety record with MVR verification
- 6Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- 7Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- 8Experience with Microsoft Office basic data-entry
