Donor and Surrogate Recruiter, Healthcare & Family Building
Overview
The Donor and Surrogate Recruiter owns the initial screening and recruitment of egg donors, sperm donors, and surrogates at a Pasadena area agency supporting families through egg donation and surrogacy. You will be the warm first contact, conducting interviews and qualifying applicants before handing them to a Case Coordinator. This role blends empathy with discretion and requires strong communication and organization. You will complete a 90 day introductory training before taking on full recruiting responsibilities and handling confidential information with care.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build rapport with applicants and conduct initial screening interviews to confirm qualifications
- 2Guide donors and surrogates through the earliest stage of their journey with compassionate, professional communication
- 3Partner with Case Coordinators to ensure a smooth handoff and accurate administrative follow up
- 4Maintain meticulous records and protect highly confidential information
- 5Ship the interview process and respond to applicant questions with care within policy boundaries
- 6Drive a positive experience for applicants, reflecting the agency's mission and values
- 7Own the administrative tasks related to recruitment with attention to detail
- 8Scale outreach and applicant intake while maintaining compliance and quality of candidate interactions
- 9Lead by example in maintaining professionalism and phone etiquette
- 10Support ongoing training and contribute to policy and procedure improvements

- 1No prior recruitment, sales, or industry experience required but welcome candidates with relevant experience
- 2Demonstrate empathy, integrity, grit, and emotional intelligence

- 5Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- 6Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently
