Seasonal Recruiting Specialist, South Phoenix & Staffing Support
Overview
Express Employment Professionals seeks a Seasonal Recruiting Specialist to support a high-volume hiring period in South Phoenix. You will screen applicants, coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and assist the internal team with daily hiring activities. This temporary role runs approximately 5 months and offers hands-on recruiting experience in a collaborative, fast-paced setting. You will work onsite with the team and contribute to successful connections between great people and great opportunities.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build candidate pipelines by handling incoming applications and identifying qualified candidates
- 2Contact candidates by phone, text, and email to discuss employment opportunities
- 3Schedule interviews and coordinate recruiting calendars to align with team needs
- 4Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system
- 5Assist recruiters with candidate follow-up and onboarding tasks
- 6Provide exceptional customer service to applicants throughout the hiring process
- 7Support recruiting events, job fairs, and hiring initiatives as needed
- 8Perform other administrative and recruiting-related duties assigned by management
Requirements6
- 1Previous recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- 2Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3Strong organizational and time management abilities
- 4Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- 5Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software systems
- 6Positive attitude with a strong attention to detail
