What You'll Do11
- 1Adhere to affiliate goals and policies on patient care professionalism and wait times
- 2Participate in achieving productivity and quality metrics
- 3Perform back-office tasks such as obtaining social histories triaging patients and educating them on informed consent
- 4Coordinate lab work scheduling patient intake and updating electronic medical records
- 5Maintain accurate patient information and follow up on referrals and counseling
- 6Support clinicians with appointment scheduling and patient flow management
- 7Ensure compliance with safety policies infection control and regulatory requirements
- 8Attend trainings and staff meetings to stay updated on protocols
- 9Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- 10Collaborate with team members to meet revenue and patient satisfaction goals
- 11Report safety concerns and errors promptly
Requirements12
- 1High School diploma or equivalent graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
- 20-2 years clinical back office experience
- 3Reproductive and family planning health care experience preferred
- 4Commitment to Planned Parenthood mission increasing access to abortion and reducing stigma
- 5Excellent customer service and clear writing skills
- 6Productivity punctuality and ability to multitask
- 7Knowledge of anatomy physiology contraception pregnancy and agency protocols
- 8Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 9Legal reporting obligations for abuse and suspected cases
- 10Flexibility to travel between centers based on demand
- 11Bilingual skills and commitment to DEI initiatives using non-binary pronouns
- 12Willingness to adapt to technology and changing work environments
