Division Controller Accounting Manager
Overview
Lead accounting and financial operations for a growing franchise organization. Oversee billing financial reporting and business analysis while supporting 70 franchise owners. Manage a small team and drive strategic insights.
What You'll Do9
- 1Manage daily accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable billing and reconciliations
- 2Oversee financial reporting month-end close and accurate financial statements
- 3Analyze financial performance trends to support executive decisions
- 4Support franchise owners with billing accuracy franchise fee tracking and compliance
- 5Develop and maintain accounting processes internal controls and reporting procedures
- 6Supervise and mentor staff while ensuring efficient workflow
- 7Coordinate audits tax support and external reporting requirements
- 8Partner with leadership on budgeting forecasting and strategic planning
- 9Maintain compliance with accounting standards regulations and franchise agreements
Requirements11
- 15+ years progressive accounting or finance experience with leadership roles
- 2Prior experience as Accounting Manager Controller or similar senior position
- 3Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and internal controls
- 4Experience with billing multi entity or franchise accounting structures
- 5Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights
- 6Experience leading small teams and managing departmental operations
- 7Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel
- 8Excellent organizational analytical and problem solving abilities
- 9Strong communication skills working with business owners leadership and cross functional teams
- 10Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
- 11CPA or advanced certification preferred NetSuite experience a plus
Salary Insight
$145 - $150k per year
