What You'll Do11
- 1Manage daily pharmacy operations and support shift coverage by traveling district routes
- 2Oversee prescription processing and ensure adherence to workflow procedures
- 3Protect cold chain products through proper inventory management practices
- 4Train and coach pharmacy technicians on immunization administration
- 5Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve complex insurance and medication issues
- 6Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations while upholding CVS Health policies
- 7Develop and deliver clinical care services including COVID/Flu and hormonal contraception
- 8Adapt to flexible scheduling demands while contributing to team dynamics
- 9Stay current with industry changes through required trainings and CMEs
- 10Support patient outcomes through proactive care coordination and accessible services
- 11Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions
Requirements11
- 1Active Pharmacist License in California
- 2National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- 3Not on DEA Excluded Parties list
- 4Ability to travel within reasonable radius for staffing needs
- 5Regular attendance including nights and weekends
- 6Strong attention to detail for prescription accuracy
- 7Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions
- 8Physical stamina to stand upright for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
- 9Proven problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
- 10Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
