District Support Pharmacist FT - CVS Health
Overview
You will own pharmacy operations for a high-volume district, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance across multiple locations. You will lead technician teams, manage inventory, and drive patient care programs. This role operates onsite in San Francisco, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager. You will apply CPC Card certification and your active Pharmacy License to impact community health outcomes.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead pharmacy technicians to achieve daily operational goals and maintain patient safety standards.
- 2Design workflow improvements to reduce prescription turnaround time and enhance customer service.
- 3Drive adoption of patient care programs, including immunizations and medication therapy management.
- 4Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize waste, ensuring availability of critical medications.
- 5Monitor quality assurance metrics and implement corrective actions to meet regulatory requirements.
- 6Train and develop pharmacy support staff on new procedures and technologies, including RxConnect.
- 7Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to optimize financial performance and control costs.
- 8Resolve customer escalations related to prescriptions, insurance issues, or service concerns.
Requirements5
- 1Active Pharmacy License in California.
- 2Immunization Certification through an accredited organization such as APhA.
- 3Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- 4Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
- 5Free of pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances.
