What You'll Do10

  • 1Own district sales and profitability, using MS Office and financial reports to control payroll and shrink while boosting revenue.
  • 2Coach store managers to deliver world-class customer service and resolve escalated issues across all locations.
  • 3Enforce Chuck & Don's and Kriser's visual standards and brand directives to ensure consistent store experience.
  • 4Partner with IT and HR to rollout new systems and infrastructure across the district.
  • 5Recruit, interview, and select management candidates to build a strong talent pipeline aligned with brand values.
  • 6Create individual development plans and career paths to retain top performers and boost succession readiness.
  • 7Analyze store metrics and field data to translate insights into action plans that grow sales and customer loyalty.
  • 8Drive inventory and supply chain collaboration to balance stock levels and meet merchandise standards.
  • 9Champion a culture of inclusion and diversity, making every team member feel valued and connected.
  • 10Travel 60-80% of the time to visit stores, recognize high performers, and coach leaders requiring support.

Requirements10

  • 15+ years of multi-unit retail management experience, overseeing multiple store leaders.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience accepted.
  • 3Proven ability to read P&L statements and financial reports to drive business decisions.
  • 4Strong leadership track record in hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.
  • 5Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of business outcomes.
  • 6Familiarity with the natural pet retail industry is preferred.
  • 7Proficient in MS Office applications for reporting and communication.
  • 8Valid driver's license and clean driving record for 60-80% market travel.
  • 9Comfortable working around pet hair and dander, handling small and large dogs.
  • 10Passion for pets and ability to integrate fun into the workplace.
