Overview
Mercor is conducting a paid research study to refine how the dishwasher role is defined in the government's O*NET framework. As a participant, you'll share your hands-on knowledge through a one-time online interview, helping improve how this occupation is documented. This remote opportunity is open to experienced dishwashers currently working or recently active in the U.S., and the session takes about 30 minutes.
What You'll Do5
- 1Take part in a one-time online interview (up to 30 minutes) where you'll answer questions about your daily tasks.
- 2Describe the tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies you use to maintain sanitation in a commercial kitchen.
- 3Explain the typical workflow of a shift, including how you manage dish loads, kitchen areas, and food prep equipment.
- 4Share specific examples from your recent experience to help researchers accurately capture the realities of the job.
- 5If selected, complete an optional follow-up survey, task, or short interview, which is paid separately.
Requirements5
- 1At least 2 years of professional experience specifically working as a dishwasher.
- 2Must currently work as a dishwasher or have worked in the role within the last 12 months.
- 3Direct, hands-on knowledge of kitchen cleanup routines, equipment, and daily workflow.
- 4Based in the United States and able to connect remotely for the session.
- 5Not eligible if your primary role is cooking, serving, hosting, or managing a restaurant or kitchen.
