What You'll Do10
- 1Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans during shifts.
- 2Sort cleaned items into storage racks, maintaining organization for fast retrieval.
- 3Scrape, rinse, and load dirty ware to meet health and safety standards.
- 4Empty trash bins and dispose of waste following proper procedures.
- 5Maintain dishwasher cleanliness by removing debris and reporting malfunctions.
- 6Assist kitchen staff by wiping counters and sweeping floors to keep work areas sanitary.
- 7Restock dish stations with clean wares at peak times to avoid shortages.
- 8Communicate with servers and chefs to prioritize urgent dish needs.
- 9Follow safety guidelines including wearing protective gloves and aprons.
- 10Support prep cooks by washing produce containers and kitchen tools.
Requirements6
- 11+ year experience with commercial dishwashing or kitchen sanitation.
- 2Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- 3Knowledge of health code dish sanitation procedures.
