Overview
Own the industrial and technology vertical strategy within the NA Surface Transportation division at scale. Translate market insight and performance trends into prioritized growth plays and measurable outcomes. Lead cross‑functional teams across Commercial, Capability Integration, Data, and Centers of Excellence to ensure consistent execution and accountability. This role is matrixed and requires clear priorities and data‑driven decisions to drive revenue, profitability, and expansion of the addressable market.
What You'll Do10
- 1Define and own the industrial vertical strategy and roadmap with clear prioritization to drive revenue growth and profitability
- 2Translate trends, customer economics, and performance insights into scalable growth plays
- 3Identify growth opportunities and capability gaps, recommending build‑versus‑buy and capability investment
- 4Oversee centralized capabilities such as data science, digital CX, and automation to deliver standardized, scalable, configurable solutions
- 5Align resources and cross‑functional teams to highest‑value opportunities across regions and customer portfolios recursively
- 6Define and drive success metrics tied to business outcomes, partnering with data and governance to quantify ROI and adjust priorities
- 7Identify execution gaps, drive corrective actions, and ensure alignment between strategy, capability development, and operations
- 8Lead vertical governance by setting focus areas, reinforcing operating model discipline, and guiding investment decisions
- 9Engage in stakeholder alignment and communications to maintain focus on measurable commercial outcomes
- 10Foster an inclusive, accountable culture with a continuous improvement mindset
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 2Minimum 8 years of leadership in customer engagement, consultative management, or vertical leadership
- 3Minimum 5 years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain
- 4Minimum 4 years of direct people leadership (hiring, coaching, performance management, talent development)
- 5Experience leading strategy, growth initiatives, or cross‑functional programs with measurable outcomes
Salary Insight
