Overview
Lead pharmacy operations and clinical nutrition programs for a large acute care healthcare organization in Massachusetts. Provide strategic and operational leadership while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

- 1Provide strategic leadership for all pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services
- 2Oversee departmental planning budgeting financial performance and operational initiatives
- 3Ensure compliance with state federal and accreditation standards
- 4Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and medication management
- 5Direct hiring coaching performance management and professional development of pharmacy staff
- 6Collaborate with physicians nursing leadership and executive teams to improve clinical outcomes
- 7Manage departmental purchasing inventory control and operational efficiencies
- 8Oversee pharmacy residency and student training programs
- 9Support formulary management medication-use evaluations and policy development
- 10Participate in interdisciplinary committees and organizational strategic planning
- 11Monitor industry trends and implement best practices across pharmacy services
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Current Massachusetts Pharmacist license (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
- 3Minimum of five years progressive supervisory experience within a hospital pharmacy department
- 4At least two years of leadership experience at the Assistant Director level or higher within a hospital pharmacy department supporting a PGY2 Pharmacy Administration residency program
- 5Strong leadership communication and team development skills
- 6Preferred Master's degree (MBA MHA MPH MS or equivalent)
- 7Experience managing departmental budgets and financial performance
- 8Knowledge of inventory management and pharmacy automation systems
- 9Experience presenting operational clinical financial or regulatory information to leadership
- 10Familiarity with evolving healthcare regulations and medication management best practices
Salary Insight
$189 - $210k per year
