Lead and manage oncology pharmacy team in Boston. Own daily operations and drive strategic initiatives to enhance patient care while maintaining safety and compliance.
What You'll Do12
- 1Manage daily pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance
- 2Develop and maintain policies procedures and SOPs for safe high-quality service
- 3Oversee medication management procurement preparation storage and distribution
- 4Supervise high-cost drug utilization for ambulatory hematologyoncology and specialty drugs
- 5Recruit evaluate train schedule pharmacy staff including PGY2 oncology residents and students
- 6Foster supportive accountable engaged work environment
- 7Participate in budget development cost-saving initiatives and drug budget management
- 8Manage productivity staffing to meet performance standards
- 9Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes
- 10Train and mentor staff including residents and students
- 11Lead quality assurance and process improvement initiatives
- 12Provide on-call support for urgent operational and clinical needs
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Degree in Pharmacy (Bachelor's or PharmD)
- 3One of the following: PGY-1 + PGY-2 Specialty or HSPAL Residency or PGY-1 + 2 years of pertinent experience or 4 years of pertinent experience
- 4Licensed as a pharmacist in Massachusetts by the hire date
- 5Hematology/Oncology experience
- 6Advanced degree (Master's MBA) and/or accredited residency with some leadership experience
Salary Insight
$160 - $180k per year
