What You'll Do9
- 1Develop a long-term product development plan and sales budget for the North American fresh produce division.
- 2Drive demand generation by planning field activities, including demo greenhouse tours, variety campaigns, and customer connections.
- 3Manage grower, distributor, and retailer relationships, focusing on accurate variety placement and timely planning.
- 4Report sales and commercial activities regularly, using data to adjust the sales and product pipeline.
- 5Execute the North American growth plan to increase market share and lead revenue targets.
- 6Advise on product mix across market segments to achieve profitable volume and acceptable risk.
- 7Collaborate with research, technical, marketing, and finance teams to create value propositions and pricing models.
- 8Partner with customer support to ensure reliable supply consistent with strategic plans.
- 9Create executable product and brand plans, setting direction for new product launches.
Requirements6
- 17+ years experience in the Agro vegetables sector in North America.
- 2Combination of experience in product placement and business development.
- 3Academic education in agriculture.
- 4Must have grocer or retail experience, not food service.
- 5Preference for candidates located in the eastern U.S. and near a major airport.
- 6Ability to interact with senior individuals at key accounts.
