Director of Clinical Services, PACE & Geriatric Care
Overview
You will lead clinical operations for Huron Valley PACE, a PACE program serving older adults across Detroit and Ypsilanti. You will oversee 40+ clinical staff and manage the full care continuum, from assessments to emergency response. As Director of Clinical Services, you will partner with the Interdisciplinary Team to drive person-centered care and regulatory compliance. This role offers 6 weeks of paid time off and a chance to shape the future of senior care with Brio Living Services.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement integrated care models across all settings, aligning with CMS regulations and participant safety goals.
- 2Lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development for clinical staff, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- 3Drive quality improvement initiatives with the Quality department, monitoring outcomes and implementing corrective actions.
- 4Oversee IDT coordination to ensure timely assessments, care planning, and service delivery for participants.
- 5Manage clinical budgets and resource allocation, adjusting staffing based on utilization trends to meet organizational goals.
- 6Serve as the primary liaison for participants and families, providing education and addressing concerns with transparency.
- 7Develop and maintain emergency preparedness protocols, ensuring staff readiness and participant safety during crises.
- 8Build relationships with external providers and agencies to support seamless care transitions and regulatory compliance.
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2Current RN license in Michigan, free of disciplinary actions, or NP certification by ANCC or AANP.
- 3Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- 4Experience in elder care, long-term care, home health, hospice, or a PACE program.
- 5Certification in gerontology, case management, or healthcare leadership preferred.
- 6CPR Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
