What You'll Do13
- 1Lead and supervise the Real Estate Transactions Team focusing on hiring training and performance management
- 2Create clear expectations and hold staff accountable for achieving project goals
- 3Leverage internal and external relationships to remove barriers and enhance team efficiency
- 4Formulate short- and long-term strategic plans for the portfolio and evaluate project financing sources
- 5Prepare materials for Board presentations and obtain necessary approvals
- 6Coordinate with stakeholders to secure approvals for external transactions and developments
- 7Manage meetings with key partners to ensure effective communication and feedback
- 8Ensure resident and staff communication regarding project impacts
- 9Identify and execute loan modifications to improve property performance and cash flow
- 10Maintain accurate project budgets and schedules for property rehabs and capital improvements
- 11Monitor requests for proposals and notices of funds to identify funding opportunities
- 12Execute investor buyouts and coordinate acquisitions of investor interests
- 13Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience in low-income housing development or real estate asset management
- 2Proven leadership with people management experience
- 3Bachelor's degree in Finance Community Development Economics or related field
- 4Expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite for financial analysis and reporting
- 5Ability to analyze proposals and assess their impact on cash flow and compliance
- 6Strong negotiation skills for managing loans refinancing and capital events
- 7Experience with RFPs and NOFAs for public funding opportunities
- 8Knowledge of property management processes and regulatory requirements
- 9Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
