What You'll Do11

  • 1Uphold the philosophy and mission of the CCAB Family Shelter and maintain professional boundaries
  • 2Interact respectfully with visitors employees volunteers and residents
  • 3Complete documentation and incident reports in a timely professional manner
  • 4Ensure program policies are followed and report issues promptly
  • 5Stay alert to recognize and respond to emergencies calmly
  • 6Communicate program activity at shift changes
  • 7Maintain clean safe secure living and work environment
  • 8Perform building checks and address cleaning or safety concerns
  • 9Assist residents with proper cooking and common area maintenance
  • 10Reinforce appropriate parenting methods and report misconduct
  • 11Participate in case reviews and attend required meetings

Requirements8

  • 1High school degree with 3-4 years social services experience preferred
  • 2CPR certification with ongoing recertification training
  • 3Ability to lift 25 pounds and evacuate residents during emergencies
  • 4Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 5Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
  • 6Competent Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook proficiency
  • 7Ability to work additional hours and shifts on weekdays and weekends
  • 8Commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries
