Overview

The Digital Fabrication Lab Associate will own and manage student use of the MassArt Digital Fabrication Labs. This role involves guiding learners on advanced digital fabrication techniques while maintaining equipment and spaces. Success requires delivering measurable outcomes within the first ninety days.

What You'll Do9

Requirements11

  • 15+ years experience with CAD software and digital fabrication tools
  • 23-5 seasons leading similar educational programs
  • 3Certification in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • 4Proficiency in Python programming language
  • 5Demonstrated ability to learn new fabrication software quickly
  • 6Strong communication skills for teaching diverse learners
  • 7Experience with plant maintenance and equipment setup
  • 8Photography skills for documentation purposes
  • 9Ability to demonstrate humor and playfulness in mentorship
  • 10High hunger for knowledge and continuous improvement
  • 11Eligibility to work in the United States with required background checks
