Development Engineer Level I SitelogIQ
Overview
SitelogIQ seeks a Development Engineer Level I to join our Midwest Division in Edina Minnesota. This technical role supports development engineers architects and operations teams by conducting facility assessments and determining building system conditions. The ideal candidate will travel 25%-50% of time within the Midwest region.
What You'll Do15
- 1Conducts surveys of customer facilities and assesses the current condition operational performance and deficiencies of building systems and infrastructure
- 2Performs on-site information gathering testing and technical measurements such as indoor air quality testing light level and acoustic measurements
- 3Develops marked-up floor plans illustrating existing conditions such as CO2 light levels and acoustic measurements
- 4Creates PowerPoint slides for the development team illustrating facility issues and opportunities for improvements
- 5Assists development engineers and architects in identifying and developing facility improvement measures
- 6Works with the development engineers and architects in defining technical scopes of work
- 7Meets regularly with the project development team to review development progress and schedules to insure delivery of customer reports
- 8Develops and analyzes energy baselines for benchmarking
- 9Calculates energy and operations & maintenance savings associated with proposed improvements
- 10Assists in the creation of asset lifecycle assessments
- 11Works with subcontractors and consultants to ensure quality of work meets requirements
- 12Develops Revit models of piping plumbing and/or ductwork systems in compliance with building codes construction standards and project leadership instructions
- 13Accurately models BIM elements in correct special constraints of Revit software
- 14Maintains discipline model including project information coordinates scales orientations scope boundaries match-lines views and sheets
- 15Produces specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Technical College Degree
- 3Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- 4General computer skills and proficiency on smartphone and tablet devices required
- 5Proficient understanding of Revit AutoCAD or Autodesk
- 6Committed team player willing to plug in where needed
- 7Excellent communication skills attention to detail and organizational traits
- 8Ability to lift 20-pound tool and equipment bags
- 9Ability to safety climb ladders and move over uneven terrain as necessary to access facility equipment
