Overview

You will own day-to-day IT operations at a customer site in Fridley, MN, supporting 300+ employees across desktop, laptop, and peripheral systems. You will troubleshoot Windows environments, manage Active Directory user accounts, and coordinate with remote Level 2/3 teams. You will drive first-call resolution with NinjaOne and Intune as your primary tools. This contract role runs 6+ months and offers a chance to work in a hands-on, customer-facing capacity.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Resolve Windows desktop and laptop incidents within 2 hours using NinjaOne ticketing and remote tools.
  • 2Provision and configure Windows workstations, Microsoft 365 apps, and peripherals for new hires within 3 days.
  • 3Administer Active Directory user accounts, groups, and access rights, ensuring zero unauthorized access.
  • 4Troubleshoot printer, scanner, and network connectivity issues with Intune and Windows diagnostics.
  • 5Escalate complex problems to Level 2/3 teams with detailed documentation and suggested next steps.
  • 6Deploy software patches and updates via Intune, maintaining 99% compliance across managed devices.
  • 7Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint for seamless collaboration.
  • 8Document recurring issues and create knowledge base articles to reduce ticket volume by 20%.

Requirements7

  • 15+ years in onsite IT support or desktop support with Windows troubleshooting.
  • 23+ years hands-on with Active Directory (user and group management).
  • 31+ year using Intune for device management and policy enforcement.
  • 41+ year with NinjaOne (preferred) for ticketing and remote monitoring.
  • 5Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • 6Experience configuring and troubleshooting printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  • 7Ability to lift 30 lbs and move equipment as needed.
