What You'll Do11
- 1Answer and log TRS user calls using Client Services management software
- 2Troubleshoot routine PC hardware and software issues via telephone
- 3Provide status updates on IT‑related matters to agency users
- 4Route tickets to escalation teams when problems exceed user capability
- 5Assist PC support staff with desk‑side trouble calls
- 6Configure operating systems and LAN access for desktops
- 7Install additional memory modems CD‑ROMs disk drives and operating systems
- 8Maintain building wiring and network port records
- 9Support Telecommunications staff with phone moves voicemail and mobile device assistance
- 10Develop documentation and user guides for PC applications
- 11Participate in IT projects and perform related duties
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or GED
- 2One year IT helpdesk or PC desktop support experience
- 3Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science information technology or related field
- 4Experience assembling installing and repairing PC hardware and software
- 5Working knowledge of ticketing software and client services processes
- 6Training or certification in ITIL v3
- 7Knowledge of Service Desk management software and Client Services best practices
- 8Ability to listen and offer exceptional customer service with initiative
- 9Strong troubleshooting skills for complex PC hardware and software
- 10Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Office and basic business applications
- 11Communication skills to explain technical information verbally and in writing
