Deskside Support Specialist, Legal Firm IT Services
Overview
Lead onsite and remote technical support for attorneys and staff across hardware, software, mobile devices, and AV systems in a major law firm environment. You will configure and deploy devices, support video conferencing, and assist visitors and clients with connectivity and collaboration tools. You will track issues in ServiceNow and contribute to service improvements.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and deliver onsite and remote support for end-user devices and applications to ensure uptime
- 2Configure and deploy laptops desktops mobiles and printers for new hires and transitions
- 3Provide AV and multimedia support for meetings including video conferencing and presentation systems
- 4Support visiting clients and external users with guest connectivity and collaboration tools
- 5Troubleshoot resolve incidents and escalate when needed using ITIL processes and ServiceNow
- 6Educate users on effective technology usage to boost productivity and reduce recurring issues
- 7Assist with testing new technologies and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives
- 8Provide afterhours and occasional on site support for outages events or critical needs
- 9Support trial and hearing technology setups including travel as required
- 10Collaborate with teams to maintain documentation and knowledge base for end user support
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent required College degree preferred with coursework in information systems or related field
- 2Professional certifications MOS CompTIA ITIL strongly preferred
- 3Minimum 3 years experience in a structured client service technology role with hands on hardware software AV and mobile support
- 4Experience with remote access technologies Internet research and specialized programs for legal environments preferred
- 5Strong interpersonal communication and ability to explain technical concepts to non technical audiences
- 6Ability to work in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities and solid organizational ITIL based service management practices
- 7Desire to provide exceptional customer service across desktop mobile and collaboration platforms
- 8Experience supporting PC and Mac setups and network infrastructure is a plus
