Design Coordinator, Homebuilder Interiors
Overview
You own the appointment flow for the Design Gallery, coordinating schedules between home buyers, builders, and interior designers at a firm handling cabinets, countertops, flooring, and more for production and custom homes. You pull specs from builders, reach out to buyers to lock in visits, and keep the gallery calendar running on Microsoft Office tools. You back up the front desk and support daily operations. What You'll Do7
- 1Collect plans and specs from home builders to prep for gallery appointments.
- 2Call home buyers to schedule and confirm Design Gallery visits, guiding them on what to bring.
- 3Enter appointment details into the scheduling system, keeping records accurate for Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- 4Coordinate multiple designers' calendars to maximize gallery coverage and minimize gaps.
- 5Handle front desk backup when the main receptionist is out, greeting visitors and routing calls.
- 6Support operational tasks like filing, printing, and updating buyer files in the scheduling system.
- 7Follow up with buyers after appointments to confirm selections or rebook if needed.
Requirements6
- 12+ years in customer service, preferably in a design center or with home builders.
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
- 3Strong attention to detail and timelines, tracking multiple schedules at once.
- 4Ability to multitask across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- 5Teamwork mentality, stepping in for reception and operations as needed.
- 6Positive attitude and professional communication with builders and buyers.
