Overview
Lead infrastructure engineering advisory for ARL IT Modernization program. Provide technical leadership across enterprise infrastructure operations supporting mission critical research. On-site in Adelphi MD non remote.
What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as senior technical advisor to Program Management and Government leadership on enterprise infrastructure operations cybersecurity and modernization initiatives
- 2Provide technical leadership across Windows and Linux server environments Nutanix infrastructure networking storage identity management and hybrid cloud services
- 3Lead infrastructure architecture reviews engineering assessments and modernization efforts to ensure secure scalable resilient solutions
- 4Oversee enterprise services including Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP PKI authentication services virtualization and cloud technologies
- 5Provide technical oversight for enterprise networking routing switching firewalls load balancing and network operations
- 6Support infrastructure performance optimization capacity planning lifecycle management disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives
- 7Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis across servers networks storage virtualization and infrastructure services
- 8Drive automation configuration management monitoring and operational efficiency initiatives
- 9Evaluate emerging technologies and develop technical roadmaps aligned with mission requirements
- 10Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements RMF Continuous ATO STIG implementation vulnerability management and security hardening
- 11Provide mentorship and engineering oversight to systems administrators network engineers infrastructure engineers and technical support personnel
Requirements12
- 1Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570/8140
- 2Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 312+ years progressive experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in DoD Federal research or complex organizations
- 4Demonstrated experience with Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP PKI identity management authentication services
- 5Experience with enterprise virtualization hyperconverged platforms Nutanix VMware Hyper-V or equivalent
- 6Knowledge of enterprise storage backup recovery disaster recovery business continuity and datacenter operations
- 7Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 networking routing switching VLANs firewalls and network troubleshooting
- 8Experience with endpoint management patch management infrastructure monitoring systems administration performance optimization tools
- 9Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure server storage and network issues in large scale environments
- 10Experience supporting environments serving 1000+ users managing infrastructure lifecycle
- 11Preferred senior technical leadership roles such as Infrastructure Architect Chief Infrastructure Engineer Technical Director or similar
- 12Relevant advanced certifications PMP CISSP CCSP Nutanix Microsoft Azure AWS CCNP or ITIL
