What You'll Do10

  • 1Own the demand forecast across multiple product categories, blending statistical forecasts, business trends, and commercial inputs.
  • 2Lead weekly forecast reviews, identifying risks, opportunities, and key changes versus plan.
  • 3Partner with Merchandising to understand launches, assortment shifts, lifecycle strategies, and category dynamics.
  • 4Collaborate with Channel Planning to align demand forecasts with channel-level sales and inventory plans.
  • 5Work with Data Science to incorporate promotional activity, customer behavior, and cannibalization risk into forecast models.
  • 6Support OTB and financial planning by clearly communicating forecast changes, demand trends, and inventory implications.
  • 7Analyze forecast performance metrics including accuracy, bias, variability, and inventory health.
  • 8Present demand insights and recommendations to cross-functional partners with clarity and confidence.
  • 9Support new product launches by evaluating historical analogs, launch plans, and channel expectations.
  • 10Evolve demand planning tools, reporting, and processes as the business scales.

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 23-5 years in demand planning, merchandise planning, or inventory planning.
  • 3Retail, apparel, or consumer products experience preferred.
  • 4Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, OTB planning, and retail financial metrics.
  • 5Experience with forecast accuracy, bias, and business-driven forecast adjustments.
  • 6Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and large data set analysis.
  • 7Experience with planning systems such as o9, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Relex, SAP IBP, Toolio, or Oracle.
  • 8Excellent communication and influence skills.
  • 9Highly organized, comfortable managing multiple categories and deadlines.
  • 10Proactive problem solver who identifies risks early and brings solutions forward.
