Overview

You own style-level buy planning and in-season inventory management for SKIMS sleepwear, a global e-commerce brand scaling rapidly. You'll leverage Microsoft Excel and Looker to analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance, driving sales and margin. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to align on strategy, forecasting, and inventory targets. This role is critical for maintaining our never-out-of-stock strategy and optimizing product productivity across channels.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Analyze sales, inventory, and e-commerce performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly, delivering actionable insights and recommendations.
  • 2Develop and maintain clear reporting recaps for assigned categories, including ad hoc analysis for cross-functional partners.
  • 3Own inventory laddering and SKU-level projections for core styles, ensuring optimal stock levels and supporting a never-out-of-stock strategy.
  • 4Execute monthly buys for core products and recommend quarterly updates to core assortments to maintain productivity.
  • 5Build pre-season buy plans for seasonal and non-core categories, partnering with Merchandising to align on strategy and present recommendations to leadership.
  • 6Collaborate with wholesale and cross-functional planning partners to optimize inventory turns, maximize revenue, and improve margins.
  • 7Monitor purchase order flow and production updates, proactively recommending adjustments to delivery timing or transportation methods to protect OTB and IMU.
  • 8Conduct size-level analysis and recommend size curves to support accurate buying and allocation strategies.
  • 9Identify risks and opportunities within the business and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
  • 10Contribute to the evolution of planning best practices, tools, and processes, fostering a collaborative and solutions-oriented team environment.

Requirements10

  • 13+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or a related analytical role within apparel, retail, or e-commerce.
  • 2Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, logical formulas; basic macros a plus).
  • 4Strong understanding of inventory planning concepts, including replenishment and ladder planning.
  • 5Demonstrated ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and communicate insights effectively.
  • 6Experience with planning and business intelligence tools such as Toolio, Looker, NetSuite, Google Analytics, or Shopify is a plus.
  • 7Highly organized with strong time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 8Comfortable working under pressure and adapting quickly to changing business needs.
  • 9Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • 10Enthusiasm for the SKIMS brand and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
