Overview
Design trend right sleepwear collections for target consumer. Support design team from concept to final product ensuring aesthetic commercial viability and business alignment. What You'll Do11
- 1Research and interpret seasonal trends color stories fabrics prints silhouettes relevant to sleepwear
- 2Develop seasonal assortments aligning with brand identity target customer
- 3Create and update technical design packages including sketches CADs colorways specs
- 4Source and select fabrics trims prints for sleepwear considering comfort quality cost
- 5Partner with product development and sourcing teams to ensure design feasibility cost targets
- 6Support merchants and planners build balanced assortments meeting aesthetic margin pricing requirements
- 7Prepare materials for design presentations assist in presenting line concepts updates
- 8Review lab dips strike offs fabric qualities samples ensure alignment with design intent
- 9Track sample progress manage updates within seasonal calendar
- 10Assist in fit sessions provide design feedback document follow ups
- 11Maintain awareness of competitive landscape market trends
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
- 21–3 years design experience preferably in sleepwear intimates loungewear
- 3Working knowledge of fabrics including knits wovens trims common in sleepwear
- 4Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator Photoshop CAD programs
- 5Strong sketching CAD presentation skills
- 6Basic understanding of garment construction technical design processes
- 7Strong organizational skills attention to detail
- 8Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional partners
- 9Passion for fashion trend detail
