Overview
Design and develop technical specifications for intimate apparel collections. Lead fit sessions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production-ready garments. Drive improvements in garment construction and manufacturing efficiency.
What You'll Do11
- 1Create and maintain detailed technical packages including garment specifications and measurement charts
- 2Ensure design intent translates into production-ready garments
- 3Review prototypes and samples for fit construction and quality
- 4Conduct fit sessions with cross-functional teams and document feedback
- 5Partner with overseas factories to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- 6Monitor sample progress and maintain development timelines
- 7Maintain consistent fit grading across all product categories
- 8Identify construction improvements and collaborate on solutions
- 9Lead technical development from concept through production
- 10Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office for documentation
- 11Communicate effectively with global manufacturing partners
Requirements6
- 13–5 years Technical Design experience in intimate apparel
- 2Strong knowledge of garment construction patternmaking grading and fit
- 3Experience leading fit sessions and communicating corrections
- 4Experience working directly with overseas factories and vendors
- 5Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office
- 6Experience with PLM systems is a plus
