What You'll Do11
- 1Manage end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to PP samples for 15-20 clients
- 2Collaborate with pattern makers sample cutters and trim buyers to guarantee on-time deliveries
- 3Develop and maintain comprehensive tech packs BOMs and construction specifications
- 4Research fabrics trims and materials aligned with brand aesthetic and cost targets
- 5Participate in fit sessions providing detailed garment construction feedback
- 6Track development calendars manage sample milestones and critical path timelines
- 7Oversee fit SMS and photo sample scheduling
- 8Work with pattern department to ensure accurate estimated yields
- 9Coordinate with costing department to maintain accurate cost sheets
- 10Partner with production department for seamless handoff
- 11Drive continuous improvement in development processes
Requirements9
- 13+ years of experience in apparel product development technical design or related field
- 2Proficiency in creating and managing tech packs garment specifications
- 3Strong understanding of garment construction fit and manufacturing processes
- 4Experience working with domestic suppliers and factories
- 5Excellent organizational skills managing multiple simultaneous projects
- 6Adobe Illustrator proficiency required
- 7Familiarity with ERP software Aims360 and Smartsheet preferred
- 8Effective written and verbal communication skills with collaborative mindset
- 9Passion for translating creative concepts into wearable products
