
Supply Chain Planner, Inventory & Demand Forecasting
Overview
Own end-to-end supply planning for a globally leading consumer device company, balancing demand signals with inventory targets to hit 95%+ fill rates. You will analyze forecast variance, set ERP parameters, and execute weekly supply plans that maximize inventory turns while minimizing carrying costs. What You'll Do8
- 1Analyze forecasted demand and inventory levels to develop weekly supply plans that meet customer demand targets.
- 2Set and adjust ERP system parameters (e.g., safety stock, reorder points) to achieve service level goals while minimizing inventory costs.
- 3Execute weekly supply plans to minimize future gaps and maximize inventory turns, adjusting to real-time constraints.
- 4Monitor fill rate performance and inventory metrics, identifying trends and proposing corrective actions.
- 5Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align on supply availability and resolve exceptions.
- 6Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and enhance forecast accuracy.
- 7Generate and present supply plan summaries and exception reports to management, highlighting risks and trade-offs.
- 8Support month-end and quarter-end inventory reconciliation and reporting.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of supply chain planning or related experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- 2Proven expertise with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- 3Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- 4Experience in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning methodologies.
- 5Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
