
Supply Chain Planner, Global Operations & Inventory
Overview
Own supply planning and inventory optimization for a global technology client serving millions of customers. You will work with cross-functional teams across planning, operations, manufacturing, and international regions to balance supply, demand, and service levels. This role sits in a collaborative supply chain environment, where you will drive forecasting accuracy and mitigate risks. You will use SAP and Excel to analyze data and support decision-making. This contract position offers direct impact on global operations and visibility into complex supply chains.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build and maintain supply plans using SAP and Excel to ensure product availability.
- 2Drive inventory optimization by analyzing demand signals and aligning with production schedules.
- 3Coordinate with global teams to resolve supply constraints and minimize service disruptions.
- 4Own weekly supply review meetings with planning, operations, and manufacturing stakeholders.
- 5Ship accurate forecast updates to downstream partners and adjust plans based on real-time data.
- 6Debug discrepancies in supply data and implement corrective actions.
- 7Partner with international regions to harmonize planning processes and data flows.
Requirements6
- 13+ years in supply chain planning or related field.
- 2Experience with SAP and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- 3Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- 4Ability to work onsite in San Jose, CA for a contract role.
- 5Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or engineering.
- 6Knowledge of APO or Kinaxis is a plus.
