Delivery Driver, Pizza Delivery Expert
Overview
You will deliver hot, fresh pizza to customers in the Seattle area, owning the entire delivery experience from store to doorstep. You will also prep ingredients, clean equipment, and process orders in a fast-paced team environment. This role includes cash tips daily and paid sick leave under WA State law. You will gain hands-on experience with POS systems and professional driving skills, with opportunities for advancement into management.
What You'll Do9
- 1Deliver product by car to customer doors within a designated delivery area, navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
- 2Prepare and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- 3Receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
- 4Clean equipment and facility daily, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- 5Operate all equipment including ovens, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
- 6Handle cash transactions accurately, making correct change and using the POS system.
- 7Deliver flyers and door hangers as part of marketing campaigns.
- 8Maintain a safe driving record and ensure the delivery vehicle is in good condition.
- 9Provide excellent customer service, both over the phone and in person, ensuring order accuracy.
Requirements9
- 1Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- 2Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- 3Ability to navigate using a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including cases of ingredients and supplies.
- 5Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
- 6Basic math skills to handle cash and make correct change.
- 7Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- 8Ability to operate a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry.
- 9Comfortable with varying weather conditions and indoor temperatures from 36°F to over 90°F.
