Overview
You'll own the last mile for one of Seattle's busiest pizza stores. Domino's delivers to a high-volume area, and your car plus navigation skills keep orders hot. You'll join a team of drivers and in-store crew, backed by a franchise that promotes from within. This role pays $20.82 to $23 per hour plus mileage and tips, with a guaranteed evening shift 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
What You'll Do10
- 1Deliver pizza and sides to customers using your own insured vehicle and a GPS or map.
- 2Load orders and plan routes to minimize delivery time across a 3-5 mile radius.
- 3Process cash and card payments, making correct change and using a POS terminal.
- 4Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, rotating stock by date.
- 5Prepare pizza products: stretching dough, adding toppings, and operating the oven.
- 6Take phone orders and enter them into the touch screen system accurately.
- 7Clean equipment, counters, and floors daily, following food safety guidelines.
- 8Fold pizza boxes and assemble orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy.
- 9Assist with inventory counts and paperwork at shift end.
- 10Navigate adverse terrain: stairs, apartment buildings, and weather conditions.
Requirements10
- 1Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting Domino's standards.
- 2Access to an insured vehicle in good condition for delivery.
- 3Ability to read maps and navigate a designated delivery area.
- 4Basic math skills to handle cash and make change accurately.
- 5Verbal and written communication skills for order taking.
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to shelf height (72 inches).
- 7Comfort with standing for extended periods and reaching up/down/forward.
- 8Tolerance for temperature extremes, from 36°F cooler to 500°F oven.
- 9Ability to climb stairs (up to 5+ flights) during deliveries.
- 10Previous delivery or food service experience preferred but not required.
