Delivery Driver, Pizza Delivery
Overview
You own the last mile of the customer experience, delivering pizzas to homes and businesses across Dallas. Domino's Pizza serves thousands of orders weekly, and your reliability keeps them coming back. You will work with a team of drivers and in-store crew, reporting to the shift manager. This role offers a flexible schedule, hourly pay plus tips, and a path into management or franchise ownership.
What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver pizzas and other products to customer doors using your own insured vehicle and a GPS or map.
- 2Navigate multi-story buildings, private homes, and adverse weather to ensure orders arrive hot.
- 3Process phone and online orders, handling cash and card payments accurately with a POS system.
- 4Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler, maintaining FIFO rotation.
- 5Prepare dough, sauce, and toppings at the make line, following Domino's recipes and standards.
- 6Clean equipment, counters, and facilities daily, including operating a dishwasher and floor scrubber.
- 7Complete inventory counts and paperwork, recording waste and usage in our inventory software.
- 8Assist with promotional flyers and door hangers during off-peak times.
Requirements8
- 118+ years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- 2Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- 3Ability to read maps and navigate streets, locating addresses in a designated area.
- 4Capable of lifting and carrying 50+ pounds (pizza sauce, dough trays) and navigating stairs.
- 5Basic math for cash handling and change making.
- 6Comfortable using a computer keyboard and touchscreen for order entry.
- 7Willing to work in varying temperatures from 36°F cooler to 90°F+ store areas.
- 8Availability for shifts including evenings and weekends.
