Delivery Driver, Pizza Delivery & Customer Service
Overview
You own the last mile of every order: driving product from store to door across San Francisco. You drive deliveries, collect payments, and represent the store in the field. You handle phone orders, prep ingredients, and keep the store clean between runs. This role mixes driving, customer interaction, and in-store operations. You work varied shifts, often during peak hours, and handle adverse weather and traffic. You deliver pizza and sides to homes and businesses, navigating stairs and multi-story buildings.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive delivery vehicle to customer locations within assigned area, carrying pizza and sides.
- 2Deliver flyers and door hangers with routes.
- 3Operate food prep equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and walk-in cooler.
- 4Prepare product including shaping dough and assembling pizzas.
- 5Receive and process telephone orders, entering them into the computer or touchscreen.
- 6Take inventory and complete related paperwork.
- 7Clean equipment and facility daily, including dishes and surfaces.
- 8Collect cash and card payments, making correct change.
- 9Navigate adverse terrain including stairs and multi-story buildings while carrying product.
- 10Handle multiple deliveries per shift, optimizing route efficiency.
Requirements10
- 1Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- 2Access to insured vehicle for deliveries.
- 31+ year of driving experience in urban environments.
- 4Ability to read maps and locate addresses within area.
- 5Math skills to handle cash and make change (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- 6Communication skills to take orders over phone and in person.
- 7Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and carry trays up to 12 pounds.
- 8Comfort with standing for long periods and working in temperatures from 36°F to 90°F+.
- 9Ability to navigate stairs (up to 5 flights) during deliveries.
- 10Experience with POS or keyboard order entry.
