Overview
You own the delivery experience for a high-volume Domino's franchise, ensuring pizzas and sides reach customers hot and on time across a designated area. You'll operate the Driver app, manage orders, and provide frontline service that keeps repeat orders coming. Every shift mixes driving, customer interaction, and in-store tasks, making you the face of the brand on the road.
What You'll Do9
- 1Use the Driver app to accept and complete delivery orders, navigating the designated area efficiently.
- 2Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages safely to customer locations, including navigating stairs.
- 3Receive and process phone and in-person orders using Domino's proprietary technology.
- 4Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- 5Prepare all products, including shaping dough and assembling pizzas to Domino's standards.
- 6Take inventory and complete associated paperwork accurately.
- 7Clean equipment and facility daily, including wiping surfaces and taking out trash.
- 8Train on new products and procedures as they roll out.
- 9Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Requirements9
- 1Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (may use calculator) and make correct monetary change.
- 2Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- 3Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- 4Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., cases of ingredients) and carry 30-pound pizza sauce.
- 5Must be able to stand for most of the shift, walk short distances, and climb stairs (up to five flights) during deliveries.
- 6Tolerance for varying temperatures: from 36°F cooler to 90°F+ work areas, plus sudden changes.
- 7Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters like walk-in coolers.
- 8Must have good communication skills and ability to work under stress with strict quality standards.
- 9All employees must use Domino's technology including Driver app, DSS, and Car Side Delivery.
