Delivery Driver, Automotive Parts & Customer Service
Overview
The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off automotive parts while following routes and schedules at scale. You will be the company representative interacting with customers daily and ensuring accurate fulfillment and safe operations. What You'll Do10
- 1Build positive customer relationships through courteous service and accurate order deliveries
- 2Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly and courteous manner
- 3Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
- 4Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to routes, and use navigation apps to deliver on time
- 5Assist with loading and unloading items and perform daily vehicle maintenance checks as needed
- 6Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, handle complaints professionally and resolve issues
- 7Maintain safety, comply with transportation laws, and manage money transactions including receipts and invoices
- 8Accurately reconcile payments and prepare reports related to deliveries
- 9Support store and warehouse duties such as stock handling and parts pulling when required
- 10Maintain and promote workplace safety and contribute to team efficiency
Requirements10
- 1Current, valid driver’s license
- 2Must be 21 years old or over and meet company insurance requirements
- 3Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy
- 4Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and up to 75 pounds for auto body parts
- 5Ability to operate a tablet or mobile device for navigation, tracking, and signature capture
- 6Excellent verbal communication skills and professional customer service
- 7Flexible schedule with overtime as needed
- 8Previous delivery driving experience is a plus
- 9Ability to work as part of a delivery team and follow directions
- 10Comply with all applicable transportation laws
