What You'll Do9
- 1Pick, stage, and deliver parts to pro customers using the delivery board system and store vehicle, following safety and navigation best practices.
- 2Collect returns, cores, and credit account payments daily, documenting transactions accurately in the inventory system.
- 3Drop off weekly and monthly sales flyers, promoting current promotions and loyalty programs to customers on the route.
- 4Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, sharing insights with the Commercial Parts Pro to grow sales.
- 5Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to raise average transaction value, recommending parts based on customer needs.
- 6Maintain store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, and parking lot, to uphold safety and appearance standards.
- 7Stock shelves during truck unloads, manage back stock, and perform cycle counts to keep inventory accurate.
- 8Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs, locate parts, and suggest suitable options, improving customer service.
- 9Keep current on product inventory and new arrivals to support sales and answer customer questions.
Requirements9
- 1Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 31+ years of safe driving and navigation experience
- 4Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- 5Basic math skills to handle cash, calculate quantities, and manage inventory counts
- 6Fluent in English; Spanish a plus
- 7Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- 8Comfort with working days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- 9Automotive parts experience preferred
