What You'll Do8
- 1Deliver 120–160 packages per day along a pre‑planned route using Amazon's navigation app, completing all stops within the 8–10 hour shift.
- 2Scan and handle packages with a handheld device, ensuring accurate drop‑offs and timely updates to dispatch.
- 3Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any safety issues on the Amazon delivery van.
- 4Interact politely with customers, handing packages directly or leaving them in secure locations, and providing a positive experience.
- 5Follow local traffic laws and Amazon's safety guidelines while driving, parking, and exiting the vehicle frequently.
- 6Assist fellow drivers by responding to rescue calls when they fall behind on their route, ensuring completion of all deliveries.
- 7Adapt to changing route conditions, weather, and traffic, making real‑time decisions to stay on schedule.
- 8Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, restocking supplies, and returning undelivered packages to the station at the end of shift.
Requirements7
- 121+ years old and authorized to work in the United States.
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record and successful background check.
- 3Pass a 4‑panel drug screening (no marijuana testing).
- 4Able to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and handle physical demands like climbing stairs and entering/exiting the vehicle constantly.
- 5Comfortable using a handheld device for GPS navigation and package scanning (training provided).
- 6Availability to work one of the following shifts: morning, afternoon, weekday, or weekend, for 3–4 days per week (full‑time) or 2 days (part‑time).
- 7Prior experience in delivery, rideshare, food delivery, military, or outdoor work (construction, landscaping) is preferred but not required.
